In Bloom Today: Clematis, More Poppies & Iris

I won’t be seeing the Moon tonight. Clouds came rolling in around 3:30 to get ready for a rain storm tonight / tomorrow.

I couldn’t get The Cat to settle down so I could take a photo of her today. There were Sparrows making all kinds of racket in the Sycamore tree, so she was going nuts trying to get out the door.

I keep seeing an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) flying around my back yard and Mom’s gardens, but I have to see it land so I can hopefully capture a photo. For now, here’s a photo at the USGS website.
