Black-capped Chickadee

There were several Black-capped Chickadees (Poecile atricapilla) capturing my attention whilst I was trying my best to photograph the Red-bellied Woodpecker.  So I had to capture a photo of one:

I went out in my backyard this evening with every intention of just reading, no camera, no phone, just me and my book. Yeah, until I spotted two Red-bellied Woodpeckers (Melanerpes carolinus) working on the Shagbark Hickory. So I got the camera and didn’t get a word read in my book. As usual, the photos are fuzzy because they were far away in the tree, and they were moving fast so they were tough to capture.
