My Brain is on a Blogging Vacation

Seriously, my brain isn’t thinking about my blog at all, and it’s usually working overtime all day long looking for things to blog about. It’s something I can’t make it do. If it needs a vacation, I can’t force it to write. So I’ll leave you with a photo I took at the National Arboretum on May 1, 2004 when the azaleas were at their peak and just absolutely gorgeous.

And I hope my brain gets over its blogging vacation soon!

  1. Shouldn’t be long and with all the soon to be flowers, ect.. that will be out (after the snow melts) you will be back into the blogging thing! Love those red flower shots and enjoy your brain vacation! We all need it from time to time!

  2. We all need a break, Pam. I can foresee several breaks for me in the near future. My ideas are slow in coming lately. My full-time job has been clogging my brain! Is it called…”brain cloud”????

Take a rest and concentrate on those gorgeous azaleas

  3. Pam, we’ve all been there. The azaleas are splendidly beautiful and just perfect when words fail. Rest your brain and have a lovely weekend.

  4. Mon@rch – hopefully I’ll be back to blogging sooner than the appearance of the flowers! My brain isn’t on vacation for anything else – just the blog!

    Laurie – Thank you!

Mary – I agree – this constant every day blogging and trying to be interesting is hard to keep up!

Susan – Thanks for being there for me when my brain decides to blog again!

Lynne – Thanks! I’ll be back!

Jayne – I figure I’ll post flower photos when my brain is busy doing other things!

Ruth – Thank you! We have snow here again so it is nice to see azaleas in my photo right now.

  5. It’s not always easy to blog day after day, Pam, and I don’t know anyone who hasn’t hit a wall from time to time. Be selfish and enjoy the nature you’ve so generously shared with us. I’ve found that helps clear the mental fog that settles in every now and then.

And the azaleas are magnificent and feel so warm and inviting. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

  6. Perhaps a lot of us are going through a blogging funk 🙂 How many times can one say something creative about gray winter days…
Your azaleas are wonderfully refreshing… perhaps we should all post our favorite spring photos?

  7. Jason – Thanks and you’re welcome! I am going to go out and smell some more flowers (inside) tomorrow (hopefully). I don’t see you slowing down on your blog!

Endment – Thank you! It is so true about the grey winter days, or even the sunny, snowy winter days. How much can we talk about it? I would love seeing your spring photos!
