I forgot to mention that yesterday when I was working on Tom’s computers at OHA he had jazz playing. These OHA guys always have music playing in their offices which I think is great. One of his computers is on a stand where I had to stand up to reach it, so I was working and dancing at the same time (hey, nobody was around, I thought). But alas I did get caught, and I don’t care! When Tom came back I asked him what he was playing – it is smoothjazz.com. I’m hooked. I’ve got it playing right now. I love instrumental jazz. There is some vocal, but not too much. And what’s really cool is they show the artist, album and song title in case you just *have* to have a particular song or songs for your ipod / computer / etc.
How about you, do you listen to Internet radio, and if so, what do you listen to?
Very cool! Will have to head over there and check it out!
It’s great for work, if you’re allowed to listen to music at work! I plan on listening to it at work if I get stuck in an office!
I prefer to work to light classical music and have a favourite internet station from London England. I am listening to Smoothjazz right now, and it is very mellow and enjoyable. I cannot work with music that is too intrusive.
Love smooth jazz. I don’t listen much at work and in the car I like talk radio – stupid stuff. I’m not working in a very musical environment but I do have a radio/CD player sitting behind me for slipping in my favorite CDs (very quietly).
I’ll check your link for Smoothjazz tomorrow.
Thanks, Pam Weath of Info
I meant to say *Wealth* of Info. Sorry.
Ruth – I can’t either – and vocal jazz is intrusive to my train of thought, but instrumental jazz is perfect for me. I also love classical music. What is the URL for the station you listen to?
Mary – I love smooth jazz, too! Didn’t realize it really until yesterday when I was really enjoying myself in Tom’s office. That’s good you get to listen to some music at work, even though it has to be quiet.
