More Macros

Okay, here’s the same flower as yesterday a little farther away. This should make guessing it a little easier:

Here’s another (hopefully easier) quiz for you. What is this going to be?

And here’s another panther photo. If she would lay still I could capture her soo much better. She is such a cute little kitty!

  1. Top one is clematis perhaps Jack mani …the bulb is a POPPY..and the last well is that’s my Paisley no my Babie…no no it’s your adorable feline~~ hugs NG

  2. Pam, I wish I could play this game but I’m UNEDUCATED…lol! But, I need to say that the kitty is adorable and it’s been since 2002 that I had a cat. The cats I loved and owned us were comical. My last cat, poor Ralphie, died of old age and we still miss her and our other four. Cats are independent loves that give “head bumps”, slither on your legs, and really appreciate human touch and our soft voices. I miss that. And the purring…

  3. The 2nd one is going to be an oriental poppy, right? I LOVE those. I don’t have any in my yard right now. I need to fix that.

I love fuzzy plants and macros of them. So cool.

  4. Oh. Sweet, sweet kitty.
Your gorgeous macro shots have made me determined to either figure out how to use this feature on my camera or . . . I don’t know – read the dang manual, maybe ?! Why do I have an aversion to reading manuals?

  5. I don’t guess any bunnies will be munching on that poppy before it blooms! Are those hairs soft or more prickly?

I was going to guess passion flower for the first, but clematis sounds right.

    Cute kitty!

  6. I go along with everyone else – clematis, poppy (but NOT the California kind!), and that’s MY kitty (Tornado)! Really, your kitty looks so much like mine!

  7. Well, that is one flower I don’t have! You know, I just put on my raincoat and went out to peak in all the blue flowers I have! That is of course, before I read this post.

  8. Lynne – awww, she is a soft and shiny kitty. My Dad, now my Mom take good care of her.

Naturegirl – I’m not sure which clematis or poppy ssp. That’s cool my Mom’s kitty looks like your kitties! Hugs to you, too NG!

KGMom – Thank you – I like the kitty, too.

Mon@rch – Oh, touching a poppy bud isn’t bad! The hairs aren’t too bad! Yeah, she sure is a purring fuzzy one! Not as fuzzy as your kitties, though!

Mary – I love owning cats, too. The purring is awesome.

Lizalee – you’re right! I love them too. Thanks!

Cathy – oh good, I hope to see your macros soon! Yeah, I have to read my camera manual and I’m really putting it off!

Laura – the poppy hairs aren’t that tough. I’ll have to feel one to double check. I know it does look like a passion flower, too.

Susan – You *are* so smart!

Mary C – Awww, I think it’s neat your kitty looks like my Mom’s kitty!

Sandy – are you going to plant a clematis?

Susie – You were the only one that figured out the clematis really close up! Great job!
